The noise from that little box... I would rather stay on Intel GPU than get headache...

No 3,5" with 5400 rpm... Still will stick to Seagate to maintain quietness of NAS.

Synology still without PCI-E slot on 4 bay devices for future use with 10 GbE. Just Qnap offers "cheap" NAS with 10 GbE (built-in) in 431X, hope Synology will follow that soon or will give us a slot for external NIC.

I can't believe... They finally discovered what "radiator" means... Now we need this "professional" solution in consumer boards.

Looks damn good. 10GbE out of box, 16x SATA out of box, very promising one... Would be a great NAS made of this MB.

Yeah! You're right, I saw it yesterday but this time gaming cooler "triggered" me more... We just miss cables for gaming, everything else is on shelves.

Yeah, I noticed that model number beacause I use 4 of them. Screw everyone opinion, Seagates are pretty good! :) Did you compare Barracuda LP noise to Red 2 or 4 TB? And back to MSI Z270 Pro Carbon, when LEDs are turned off is something on board lights still? Like Debug code display or status...

I was waiting on new Synology models because I'm on market for a new NAS (4-5 bays). 1515+ is old and has CPU problems so I didn't decide on it, 916+ looks expensive to me for what it offers... I want to use it as a DAS too so 10GbE would be nice but unlike QNAP Synology lacks it and I hoped...
