    Copper or Aluminum

Copper fins has better egress, but are less light-weight. Although a smaller copper heatsink at larger weight and higher price performs slightly better then a huuuge, lightweight aluminium one for less money. If you don't have too much spare space, you definately need copper. ;)

I've got $165 and need an AGP video card

6800GT or X1950? X1950 for sure. As for ATi, I would only recommend X1650 and X1950 series. Or nVidia with DDR3 over 7600GS. Just to ease... (from worse to best) 7600GT X1650XT 7800GT 7900GT X1950XT So now only the budget counts. Edit: Goddamn blind me! Didn't see you were...

    PSU approval labels!!

FSP 400w is cheap, Enermax 400w is expensive. How much do you want to spend on it? :D BTW IMHO FSP 350w got all the headroom you need. Edit: ANY kind of quality label is bullshit that every crap PSU has. BTW it only means that the product will not shock you to death... ...when...

Heatpipe & passive cooling fan club

Yes, intake and exhaust fans are needed and used at moment. Passive coolers warm up faster than their heat could be exhausted when system is on (full) load. :( Right now I'm doing that. Eg. ammonia could be easily accessed. :D
