    As usual every release, this is a "sample pricing" leak, so Nvidia and manufacturers see how OK the pricing lies with the people. If it is generally accepted, the cards will be released using this price. If there is an outcry, the prices will be lowered a bit.

    So does this driver work also for people who DO NOT use any digital outputs like SPDIF or even HDMI? I use normal audio output for my 5.1 system. I see my sound is in the INI: &VEN_10EC&DEV_1220&SUBSYS_18491220 My motherboard is ASRock X370 Taichi.

    Well Open source means they are not profiting from the code. And Intel only gives a shit if someone profits from their patents. Logically. M$ would want to profit as would the chip manufacturers. So it is a no go.
