    The problem is that its doing it when its not necessary. You cant really force that onto people.. especially when that protection turns out to become inconvenience. I already protect myself fairly well in terms of the internet type of stuff.

    I looked into why FF would do that. It might have been a corruption thing. IF a cert/key/token became corrupt, FF automatically dumps it in favor of attaching a new one. This can also when they expire, though generally FF will let you know that happened.

    Yea, thats what I believe it is too. Now im spending a whole week going through support dealing with a issue that I didnt wanna deal with.. oh well, better to fix this account issue on this other platform than just ignoring it until it became a problem.

    Had the strangest dream last night after I fell asleep sometime after 5PM. I've always had a weird feeling about this house I moved into about 7 months back, and the dream had me going through almost a maze of sorts, having to escape my house and ended up in a abandoned stairwell with weird step layouts.

    It was incredibly bizarre; the architecture was brutalist in nature, with windows that led to foggy, dark skies with a infinite darkness below. This was definitely not my house anymore. I felt like a Minotaur running through the labyrinth of the ruined palace of Minos.

    I woke up listening to a video about the book House of Leaves, and frankly, its a great book I've listened too before, and what was probably inspired my dream. But I couldn't help but feel tense as I woke up, like I had just lived some twisted warped reality, some version of my house that FELT real but could not have been.

    Anyway, I wont devolve much more into it, it was a bit more involved than that, as these dreams have happened periodically over my life ever since I've taken a listen to that book. and alot of that hinges on my mental health of sorts so it isn't really worth devolving into here.

    For anyone wondering I'm okay, not too shaken up really. This is just kind of the norm.

    You know you've hit 'that' age when the young persons lingo and slang starts to become lost on you. I sometimes have to go out of my way to educate myself. Well, at least they arent calling me a.. whats the word.. "unc?" (wouldnt be far off, I am a uncle)

    Southern Missouri just got hit by a EF4 tornado, so I'm completely out of power and wifi for a fair bit. Of course, I live in the slums, so we havent gotten our powerlines fixed whereas the richer communities already have. Lovely fact of the world.

    We luckily already had one that is built like a actual tank. But the wiring in this house sucks so it doesn't power the entire house correctly (I don't even get power in my own room.).. This is why I keep my electronics plugged into surge protectors and stuff.

    Ha. Roblox is great though, and it has really come a long way. We all play as a family. I'm getting used to my daughter beating me more and more. My wife is the one you have to watch out for. She is a fierce competitor. Whoops me regularly on "make words or die" and "don't leave the circle"......They shame me on "Dress to Impress." I almost never win that one.

    Its crazy to think about how I first started playing that platform in what I consider its 'golden era' (2011, 2012) and now I'm old enough see kids who were born after that period playing these games and beating me at them lol.

    I'm not old enough to be having kids, but I am certainly old enough to say that I remember a older era of tech.. and games. It's still quite a mindfuck sometimes.

    Yea, my unit itself is actually about 8? No, 9.5 years old. I thankfully don't use it for anything important but I've been bleeding off files to other drives because I still use it to save funny stuff.

    I mean it could be worse, my mother has literally slept through a alarm that I set up using subwoofers and a speaker system that literally shakes her room slightly with how loud it is. Still sleeps through it.

    I have an effective recipe - when I absolutely need to be up in the morning and I doubt myself what I do is drink 5 mugs of green tea before bed. Trust me, unless your bladder is legendary, you WILL get up on time.

    Breakups sometimes happen for the best, it clears a path. As long as you're not a narcissist, which I'm not writing that you are but there are people out there like that, you would be able to reflect and make changes to better yourself for the next female. I walked away from a relationship in 2023 because of a big fight due to insecurity in the female.
