tpu application bench suite is a mix of 1t and mt, we're talking strictly about mt here; it's mt that suffers from those lower PLs, so at 125w you're def seeing less than 86% of the perf from mt

intel 4 is 7nm tho (i believe? 7 is 10nm) the problem w/ the 12900k is just that its pushed way above its efficiency window like, if you were to chop it back to like 150w you'd still be at something like 80% of its performance, so yeah id imagine more E-cores being good for MT stuff

depends. looking at the op that's clearly a no, but w/ the aforementioned 1.1m or 4m, you actually might be able to heat up your surroundings enough for your cooling to fail

idt that'd work, at some point you'll heat up the earth enough for it to no longer be able to dissipate the heat you generate. thermal density matters. going for the highest thermal conductivity isnt necessarily always the right choice. also, copper tarnishes so yeah hf gl w/ that.

To elaborate on this, techpowerup.com itself is ipv4 only, but tpucdn.com has dualstack (cloudfail enables that per default; iirc you can config it down to ipv4 only but that doesnt seem to be the case here) so that would explain your observations, since if ipv6's partially borked it'd slow...

what is the green curve for ... or rather, what is the red? looks like the green's for the controller then ... there's another thermal sensor for the NAND, or something? also, a power consumption test would be interesting, since the p31 was by far the most power-efficient drive out there...
