Love the look of my 900, hate the look of the 1200. I would like to see an upgrade to the 900 with just dust filters for the front two 120mm fans and better cable management. A sliding motherboard tray would be nice too.

I just finished building my EVGA 790i system this morning. Fortunately I've just been benchmarking my QX9650 at stock speed. I guess I'll wait for further news before I do any OC'ing.

Thanks for the info, guys. I just ordered the Vendetta 2 off Amazon. Apparently Newegg doesn't carry it yet. I'll check into the bolt thru kit you suggested, tk. And dadi, the main difference I see between the Vendetta 2 and the original are the fan size (120mm vs 92mm).

BenchmarkReviews did some tests on various CPU coolers and found OCZ's Vendetta 2 to be the best performer. Best CPU Cooler Performance - Q1 2008 Does anyone here have first hand experience with the Vendetta 2?

I always kind of wondered about this. I've always used a magnetic tip screw driver, just so I don't drop any screws into the motherboard or case, but is it safe to use one? Or will it damage the hardware?

Yeah, one is stock and the other is overclocked. The price seems backwards to me because the overclock version is actually the cheaper one. I'm sure no one is going to complain about that. :)

I got the QX9650 and everything else, except for the motherboard. I'm waiting for one of the local retail stores (like Fry's or Micro Center) to have them in stock. Once I get it, I'll post my results.
