I have been provided with bios F28a that fixes tRFC and reported the following further bugs to gigabyte via ticket 1548537-2

Does anyone know how to dump the firmware on asmedia cards I had an asm1166 arrive from aliexpress yesterday with a really new firmware that i would like to replicate onto my other two cards

Yes they do have spare blocks but the ones that get turned into 960GB or 1000GB instead of 1024GB dont have enough left over without eating into all of them I will pull the bad blocks right now for you for any of my ssd's and show you if you like

There are ways to acutally enable this soft lockout at the driver level Shouldnt GPU-Z actually be checking properly instead of going through a whitelist
