    Post your Speedtest.net Speeds!

    It's meant to be 1Gbps but for $15 a month, it's okay.

*Pop* goes the side panel (i.e. shattered tempered glass side panels)

I had my case on the desk. Took the side panel off and it exploded in my hands when carefully placing it on a tile floor. Rubber mounts on the screw-holes. Tempered glass can be unpredictable and you don't know what microfractures/stress has occurred during the manufacturing process. I'd never...

    Ryzen 5600G temperature too high?

I recently built a 5700G system. It was reaching over 90C with the stock cooler. I think these chips just run hot.

    GPU Die 'Exploding'?!?!

These are photos taken after i very first removed the HSF array to re-paste. The paste has never been cleaned before because I was saving the warranty. There was a sticker and I'm non-US. There was nothing that I noticed when wiping it clean. Not that I couldn't have missed it, but the card is...

    GPU Die 'Exploding'?!?!

On both the gpu and heatsink? The only thing that was in contact was thermal paste I'm not sure how corrosion would have happened. Besides the hole in the die is not smooth, it's like part of it popped off. I've had who cards die on showers of sparks before, but never the gpu itself.

    GPU Die 'Exploding'?!?!

So I removed the Heatsink from one of my GPUs that has been having issues (frequent crashes when loaded) and I noticed a pit in the die. I wondered if it was a manufacturing defect, but then I noticed a similar pit on the heatsink that lines up pretty much perfectly with the pit on the Die. This...

Spilled coffe on my GPU, please help!

I've cleaned a few motherboards and GPUs in the dishwasher (no detergent). It works pretty well, so long as you remember to take any mechanical parts off (or the battery if it's a mobo).

    1080Ti exploded (twice)

Thanks.. Good points. I'm not going to keep it any of my expensive rigs, but I have an older Amd 1600 at work that it'll go in. I'd donate it to my daughter, but she has a mini itx case :( Maybe, if it runs stable for a few months, I'll give her an upgrade. With the shorting, the ocp on the...

    1080Ti exploded (twice)

I'm not going to repair it myself. I d on nt have the skill (by a long shot). I'd just like to know what the likelihood of it being repairable are.. The shop I gave it to were able to fix a heavily water damaged laptop mobo, but the components on this are different. I was hoping it was just a...

    1080Ti exploded (twice)

PSU was a Andyson Titanium for most of its life. When it blew up first time it was with the Andyson, second time in a rig with a corsair 650w. I don't think that's the problem though, when it blew, something shorted and ocp kicked in shutting the rigs down each time. I'd like it repaired...

    1080Ti exploded (twice)

Hi all, Does anyone know what the components circled below are? They are right by the power plugs on the card so I'm assuming they have something to do with power delivery. They, quite literally exploded showering my case in sparks. After the first time, the card still botted up and ran fine...
