I thought I fixed the game but I just tried to play and the system crashed again right away well I guess I'm not going to be playing this game it's not compatible with my system

I'm able to play BG3 now so it was the mic then I plugged the mic into the front USB 2 plug and the game works without crashing I think there was too much on the USB 3 chip

yep I think VPN is a waste of money and I fell into paying PIA for a three-year license I won't do that again Shebba my cat would of loved it if I would have spent the money on her treats

thanks for the input I'll try to see how it goes and get back to you I gave it a try and disconnected all USBs except the mouse and keyboard even disconnected my second monitor then went into the bios and put the RAM on auto it went from 3200 to 2133 was able to play now I'm connecting all USBs...

my setup is fine i replaced the CPU tested the memory and video card ran out of things to try I even reinstalled Windows 11 and bg3 still no go

I just updated to it a few days ago before on my Crosshair viii hero I would crash when I tried to play BG3 but with the new bios I don't crash anymore

I'm going to step away from it for now and wait till they fix all the bugs then try I don't know if I want to update bios or not I'll just give it time and research it more. thank you all for the help and I'm open to more help while I wait
