Newegg Canada Jumps the Gun on Z690 Motherboard Sales

There's already ample stock of Z590 out there, as it wasn't the only chipset that supported Rocket Lake. Z690 will be the only thing that supports Alder Lake. It will go the way that current video cards have, IMO. As components are still in tight supply, and that will affect motherboards, along...

Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 leak, Alongside Details of Kingston's DDR5 Modules

Yeah, G.Skill has consistently offered better timings on their kits than Corsair for a long time for the same or better price. And they look better, generally, IMO.

Intel Xe-HPG Arc Alchemist Graphics Card Alleged Pricing Points Towards $650-$825 Range

    Doesn't justify a $700-$1200 markup, though.

Matrox Celebrates 45 Years of Technology Innovation

I have fond memories of hacking my Matrox Mystique to run Quake 2 in OpenGL. That was a fun ride back then. It is too bad that they stopped making gaming GPUs. But as they've survived this long they obviously made the right choice to stay out of that market.

NVIDIA Releases Game Ready 496.13 WHQL GeForce Graphics Driver, Support Removed for Windows 8.1/8/7 & Kepler

My "Win 11 with beta update" isn't what you think. Like I said in my post, I was on Insider Preview from September on. And as I said in my post, that Insider Preview is the SAME BUILD NUMBER, as the launch version of Windows 11. I received no updates to my build of Windows 11 upon release day...

NVIDIA Releases Game Ready 496.13 WHQL GeForce Graphics Driver, Support Removed for Windows 8.1/8/7 & Kepler

496.13 was giving me some really strange behavior, as in GPU usage and game performance would drop to the floor any time mouse input was detected by the system. As in, framerates are mostly good until I try to use the mouse. Then usage and framerate drop to near 0. Stop moving mouse and it jumps...

Silicon Lottery Store Offering Prebinned Intel & AMD Processors Shutting Down

Before I got my 10940X, I was running an SL 4.8GHz binned 7820X. It was great value at the time, I paid $500 for a guaranteed 4.8GHz on all 8 cores. At the time, that was pretty crazy freq for the money.

Apple's New iPhones Get Faster A15 Bionic SoC

Been saying since their announcement, since they're only comparing it loosely to "leading competition", then it's in the realm of 5%-10% faster overall, max, compared to the previous gen chip. When you don't compare it at all to your previous gen chip, it's because you weren't able to make that...

TechPowerUp, Asetek, and ASUS ROG Present ROG Strix RTX 3080 Ti LC Giveaway

Can I complain to everyone now that this giveaway is EU only? Because there's a lot of complainers when giveaways are North America only.

New NVIDIA Broadcast App 1.3 Update Improves Noise Removal, Adds Support for More Cameras, and Reduces System Impact

It's very easy to find this on NVIDIA's own site. But for the lazy... https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/broadcasting/

New NVIDIA Broadcast App 1.3 Update Improves Noise Removal, Adds Support for More Cameras, and Reduces System Impact

I've been using NVIDIA Broadcast ever since there was integration in Discord. Now I can eat, pound keys on my clicky keyboard, have a big fan on at my back, and my friend's can't hear any of that except my voice when I'm talking. It's a really helpful program, and having it take up less...

SSUPD and TechPowerUp Present Meshlicious Giveaway

Because how would anyone know about it if it weren't posted? Also, you guys have no idea how hard it is to host an international giveaway. There's reasons why lots of giveaways are usually only hosted in a continent.

Dell Cannot Ship Select Alienware Aurora R10/R12 Systems to Several US States Due To New Power Regulations

You do realize that many states follow CARB's policies for vehicles, right? Like my own. Which is on the opposite side of the country. There are others like mine.
