does Sapphire Trixx work with 3870 model?

I just bought a Lamptron FC5 V2 fan controller and i want to hook up my Sapphire Radeon 3870 HD 100225L Graphic Card to it to control the fan speed. The Lamptron Fan Controller has 3-pin Fan Connections so is there anyway to connect this Video Card to the Fan controller to control the fan speed??

I was wondering if anyone knew if the ENERMAX T.B. APOLLISH 120mm Blue Fans UCTA12N-BL could be hooked up to a fan controller and be able to read the rpm and temperature read outs.

So i took apart the switch and as you can see it has its own black, red and yellow wires. So do i just need the yellow wire?
