  • They are slipstream fans, here's the link:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185060

Mine are pretty loud as well. I'm going to hook them up to my fan controller soon so I can turn it down during light use. They do a good job, but the noise might be a bit unbearable. 1900 RPM and 110 CFM per fan.

Your overclock sounds pretty nice considering your situation! Unfortunately, my computer is stuck in a small alcove, and I don't have room to put it elsewhere, so my temperatures suck.let me know if you have any other questions!
Hello SnoopKat, just wondering about your rig. the 2 scythe fans on your hyper 212, what model are they? gentle typhoon or kaze? what speed?

I got a look at the kaze and the typhoon when it is cranked to the highest (12V) the sound is VERY audible. So the other question is, is it loud? and of course how low is the temp under full load?

I Overclocked my 2500K to 4.2 and under Folding@home where al 4 cores are utilized I got a 69C heat rate. I live in Jakarta and I dont have Aircon at my rent, the place is constantly at 33, the coolest it hit is 29 at hottest is 34.

Would you be so kind as to help a fellow gamer out?
