  • the ASUS is a 800FSB minimum. the Celery D wont boot, hit him on a new price for the E7200 then!
    He says he has a Celery D with a 533 FSB and also he wasnt going to charge the full bill on the E7200, hit him up!
    Intel really does a crappy job of explaining the ram. The sticker says don't get ram with stock voltage of over 1.65v, but that is if you aren't overclocking. The QPI/DRAM (VTT on other boards I believe) has to be within .5 of the DRAM voltage, and unless I'm a complete fool, .5 less than DRAM. So if you buy ram with over 1.65v stock, and don't adjust the QPI/VTT voltage you will damage the CPU.
    Yes it is, QPI is at 1.4. I ran the same settings on stock cooler as I have with water, chip doesn't even seem to bothered in anyway.

    I found someone with a 7 series card that is willing to test your theory. Just let me know what you think bcuz driver modding really isn't my thang. I haven't dug into an nvidia driver since ... wow .. like 3 years ago....
    hey man, i guess i shoulda done this from the start but i simply unplugged my dvd drive, then reconnected it and walla it loaded up the vista disc just fine, did a system restore and i'm good now. thx for the tip on a slow start up though i had been wondering for a while why it was starting up slow.
