Today i got a new laptop with AMD iGPU and NVIDIA RTX 3080
Some GeForce drivers mess up Vulkan detection as documented at:
Instead of navigating through Windows settings, it would be nice to have a button (under expert tweaks?) that pokes...
Yes both GPU's plus some other firmwares.
Afterburner has no built-in flash tool, instead MSI offers https://download.msi.com/uti_exe/vga/LiveUpdate.zip
From my experience only high end mobile GPU's can be flashed separately, actually the notebook should have a sticker "MXM" somewhere.
Looks like the same issue as reported here: https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/nvcleanstall-vs-lenovo-oem-driver.285056/
In this case the folder Display.Nview is missing.
Test build 1.10.2 creates this folder.
Try this older driver which accidentially supports the 980M without subsys_ids, ie you don't need a mod.
Unpack your favourite driver with 7zip
select "use driver files from disk", navigate to the setup.exe of the unpacked driver
select components to install
select "add hardware support" under installation tweaks
Tried to install Lenovo 466.84 (on Asus laptop)
For some reason NVCleanstall (any version) forgets to copy setup.exe and nvsetup.exe
If you copy these files manually before hitting next button, installation works fine.
