yup agreed.. playing game like crysis will need good GPU.. my previous system almost scored 5.9 in vista, except my cpu scored 5.5 (bcoz it is dual core) which is for me much better than the other newer processor.
I still have the FX-60 with Asus A8N32-SLI + OCZ Platinum 2GB.. its worked great.. b4 built my Ci7.. still thinking do i have to sell it or keep it for my media system.. really love this PC.. it served me for 3 years b4 building new system..
The new motherboard will keep the S939 alive.. ASRock...
Just want to know, Do Triple Channel memory has more performance gain against Dual Channel memory.. Just curious.. If i'm using DDR3 1333MHz with triple channel setup, the memory bandwidth should be 10666 X 3 = 31,998.. Do the math like that?
There is positive and negative thing by doing that.. re branding means new product with sharing some old features but with additional new technology.. mean the product has improvement.. maybe not in performance but it could be more energy efficient.. better power consumption.
The bad thing...
9800GTX can do SLI with 9800GTX+, but i'm not sure the new GTX285 can do SLI with GTX280 due to different bios reference.
use second card (GTX280) as a CUDA.. bcoz of physic features.. i think its to much.. 9800GT will be more than enough..
so can we do SLI on GTX285 with GTX280? yup we know the card is actually the same only 55nm revision and higher clock, but bios will tell us the card is GTX 285.. anyone??
yeah lower cost but selling at higher price.. :banghead:
nvidia owez charge higher price for their card.. thank god i buy GTX260 (216SP) at discount rate.. i've 2 GTX 260 the other one with 192SP but it cost me higher than 216SP.. $289 i think its too much.. why not selling at $249.. it will...
No heat sink at the back of the card.. like my old GTX 260 (216SP)..
The old GTX260 look more handsome..
yup of course we know there is no chip at the back of the card
so there is no need for extra heat sink.. but it seems like something missing..
dont care so much about 55nm bcoz i already own EVGA GTX 260 (216SP) - 65nm, but I will consider another GTX 260 (55nm) for Tri-SLI setup.
Do GTX 285 will have new tech or just like GTX 260 55nm?
