Hi. Recently, my GPU has been generating coil whine and fan noise even at idle, or the login screen. Previously, this was not the case, and it was relatively quiet. Is there anything that can be done about this, as it is very loud and disturbing. Thanks.

The Mac laptop and the windows desktop are on different networks. I have installed JumpDesktop and it was successful, but in that test case the laptop was connected to a Wi-Fi network which ultimately was a split-off from the same ethernet cable.

Oh. I checked and it seems that indeed my ethernet card only supports 1GBe. But will getting a new network card help if my internet speed only goes up to 15 MbS? (As I mentioned in an earlier post, this is the physical limit of my connection - there is only one ISP in my area and the line only...

It seems that just as the M6000 was lost, an AMD w9100 was found. Do any of you have any experience with high-end FirePro cards? I have only used Quadro cards.

Well, the GTX 980 equivalent should be a M5000, but for some reason that is not on oculus's list, even though the inferior AMD W8100 is. The crazy thing is, there was a new Quadro m6000 sold for around 1200 dollars last night in an ebay auction. I bid, but some guy stole it in the last 7 seconds.

Yes, the pricing is accurate, a used 590 recently (less than 1hr ago) sold for 130 dollars on ebay. And as for the PSU, that is one of the things I am worried about with regard to this card.
