    Hey a the_driverX I appreciate your response. I have a 5 fan cooler under my laptop to keep her cool. And the multiplier does show a difference when I set it to 20t or lower. The indicator on top moves

    Sorry, I was under the assumption you wanted to extract more performance from your CPU... Under clocking will help with the thermals. It's too bad that you particular laptop doesn't give an option to under volt. Apparently its lock out (from a user's point of view).
