Reviving an old HP laptop for my mom!

It's a compatibility problem caused by running ATI legacy 10.02 drivers for Vista, on Windows 10. But Windows 10 offers much better performance than 7, so it's better to once a month put it to standby and back on :rockout::toast: Maybe it even fixed itself, my mom never complains about anything...

Reviving an old HP laptop for my mom!

The only problem I got with the driver is, rarely, after the PC boots, the logon screen turns black. I have to put it on standby with the on-board button, then boot it again and the logon screen shows normally. No flickering or anything. It's also possible your GPU is faulty. The PC is still...

Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) available for Insiders through the Xbox App for Windows

Hey, sorry bro. I didn't mean anything bad by it. Like, that the article is pointless or something. I'm really sorry if it came out like that <3 I'm just interested by the fact that not many people are trying this. Also, the latency issue seems like a problem to me. No way to race, shoot fast...

Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) available for Insiders through the Xbox App for Windows

I have nothing "smart" to say about this. But it seems like no one is interested? Only 2 comments in 12 hours, sheesh. I guess cloud gaming isn't getting popular anytime soon. It's not a bad concept but they need to fix latency issues.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2: Benchmark Test & Performance

The game may be kinda shite in many aspects, but the fact they're using CryEngine, which is dated, get such great performance with graphics better than Battlefield, COD etc. is still amazing. I wonder when them AAA publishers will learn you just can't slap some effects on games and get...

Well, technology has come a long way. Sometimes David wins versus Goliath. All the technologies AMD has been using are open source. So make your Ngreedia peoople have some leverage *oooooooooops*

AMD Radeon RX 6700 Series to Launch on March 18

No. All of the wafers are the same. Then they just have certain parts of it disabled. They don't make wafers for each card man.

    Wafers don't work like that.

Weird Power Draw data during Gameplay

The GPU is throttling itself all the time so this shouldn't be a problem. If you're not experiencing any issues like stuttering, you should be fine :)

Weird Power Draw data during Gameplay

I mean, are you experiencing any problems or is it just a weird monitoring graph? I think you need to explain your problem further. What do you mean with "the choppy part"?

(SOLVED) I've locked my Start key (Genius Scorpion K9)

I've already tried the manual and it says nothing about this function. FN+F12 opens the calculator, FN+F11 which says "key lock", locks the whole keyboard :( FN+Win key is Scroll Lock I believe, an arrow pointing down lights up. And yeah, basically no info on the net :( Fixed, thanks @animal007uk

(SOLVED) I've locked my Start key (Genius Scorpion K9)

Guys, I need help! I have a Genius Scorpion K9 keyboard, and it has this function to lock the Start key, so that you don't press it unintentionally while gaming. Well, I accidentally pressed the key combination to do so, and now I can't unlock it back. Does anyone have the same keyboard or...

Reviving an old HP laptop for my mom!

When she mentioned she found an old PC and wants to use it, I was actually quite happy to work on one of these, and I already knew what had to be done before I got it. Lovely little machine, let's just hope the capacitors last :D
