    Deathloop Benchmark Test & Performance

Oh my God, really? Finally! Is there a menu option for that? I assume replacing the DLL file in other games will not activate this feature.

    Deathloop Benchmark Test & Performance

Have you heard about caching? A lot of games do it these days.

    NVIDIA DLAA Anti-Aliasing

Is that based on your own experience? Mine is completely different.

    Deathloop Benchmark Test & Performance

So AMD has adaptive resolution with FSR? That is awesome. I have been waiting for NVIDIA to add this to DLSS for ages. Dynamic resolution scaling is one of the best rendering features.

    NVIDIA DLAA Anti-Aliasing

Maybe this is good for people playing at 1080p, where TAA is blurry and you want to increase image quality. But I do not see any difference in 4K, and at this resolution I am looking for features that increase performance, which is why DLSS is way better. I am still waiting for Dynamic DLSS...

Tokyo Olympics 8K Broadcast Was Powered by Intel Xeon Platinum 8380H Servers

What a complete waste of bandwidth and processing power. But dumb masses will go for it and we will get totally useless 8K content and displays instead of something worthwhile like 21:9 aspect ratio.

Epic Games Store Keeps Losing Money, Expected Unprofitable Until 2027, Even with a Massive $500 Million Investment Behind It

I never actually liked that. I liked boxes, but not the discs. It took a long time to install something (imagine now with such huge games), and you usually needed to have the disc in the drive to play the game because of DRM. I like the digital era. To me it is almost perfect. You get things...

Epic Games Store Keeps Losing Money, Expected Unprofitable Until 2027, Even with a Massive $500 Million Investment Behind It

That is why I got Metro Exodus from Humble Choice, and I got WRC 8 with a deep discount on Steam. Make a good and polished game, allow me to buy it wherever I want and I can pay full price at launch. But if they do bullshit like timed exclusivity (or a crappy port), I will buy it at a low price...

Epic Games Store Keeps Losing Money, Expected Unprofitable Until 2027, Even with a Massive $500 Million Investment Behind It

What monopoly? Every major publisher has their own store. And you have hundreds of retailers worldwide who sell physical and digital copies for various platforms. And you have DRM-free GOG. There are deals happening all over the internet every single day. I have not noticed any difference since...

    AMD Ryzen 7 5700G

This is a weird APU. On one hand, the CPU is almost as fast as the 5800X, but it costs less and uses less power. On the other hand, the GPU is good pretty much only for desktop use or video playback. Maybe with DDR5 and the 3D cache will allow them to put more CUs in. 4C/8T with 16 CUs would...

Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller (Series X|S)

Yeah the build quality for the Xbox One controllers was not amazing. My Scorpio controller's casing started squeaking very quickly. And all three XBO controllers that I had developed trigger squeaking as well. The X360 controllers were awesome and extremely durable. I used them for over a...

NVIDIA "Ada Lovelace" Architecture Designed for N5, GeForce Returns to TSMC

I am always getting lower clocks than reviewers do, even though temperatures are good. Non-RT games usually stayed just above 1900 MHz at stock (while pretty much constantly drawing 350 W), sometimes the clock dropped below 1900. I would actually not use this card if stock setting were the only...

NVIDIA "Ada Lovelace" Architecture Designed for N5, GeForce Returns to TSMC

Good. The Samsung 8N process is trash for big chips. Ampere efficiency is garbage without severe undervolting. My 3080 can push over 270 W with ray-tracing, at just 1800 MHz and 0.8 V. That is crazy. Regular games do 200-230 W. Vsynced, rarely getting past 70-80% GPU usage. At stock settings...

Next-Gen AMD Radeon RDNA3 Flagship To Feature 15,360 Stream Processors?

I do not really care how much faster it is. I care whether I can buy it without selling my kidney.

AGON by AOC Unveils 49" Curved AG493UCX2 & AG493QCX Gaming Monitors

I like how common ultra-wide monitors are right now, and even these uber-wide displays are starting to pop up more often. I really wish they introduced a 21:9 TV standard. UHD was the perfect time for this. 16:9 is too narrow at 55" and bigger. Instead of expanding the size of 16:9 screens...
