Hello all i currently own a Gygabyte gtx 260 896 mb DDR3 but it's currently living in a old P4 d940 at 3.2ghz i plan to buy a i7 and nice asus mobo within a month or two (advice on that welcomed too) and a samsung 22inch 2ms screen i dont truely know the power of my GPU since my cpu...

well , i installed the russian dx 10 ...didnt notice much difference yet... do u think if i use system restoration to before installing it , it leaves nothing behind ?

yup ill try on this rig after i get a new one...hopefully im done touching things that work on my main pc... as for asus setting resetting, seems like everytime windows starts it pulls the oced setting... so not really sure what u mean by reset after powering down

thx for the msconfig tip, as for ocing the oldfashion way, id have to do some research on that as ive never oced anything in my life...

Hi all, i have tried to oc via asus software to 30%, when windows starts i get the BLUE Screen or auto reboot... i cant seem to change cpu speed in bios... so what i did, i took the cpu out and then put it back in, now the bios finds the real speed but same shit happens when windows...

this 6800 is brand new was never used... and if it breaks i got a second used one;)

here are my specs : Dual core Intel Pentium D 940 Core speed 3.2 ghz / P5WD2-E Premium / so do u think my proc was the reason nba2K9 was slow ? I echanged the broken flash 4870 for Gigabyte gtx 260 sup oc, brought my old 6800 at work:) and exchanged the 9600 + some extra cash for a SAMSUNG...
