I can't figure out whats wrong - GPU or PCI-E or maybe the problem is somewhere else?

Yeah i'm sure it's from PSU. My PSU is on the bottom while the card is in the middle of the case, so when you open the case side and listen from closely you can hear that sound is originating from PSU at the bottom. And yeah that's what i'm thinking too - Crysis 3 is very power hungry, and i...

I can't figure out whats wrong - GPU or PCI-E or maybe the problem is somewhere else?

I checked the fan, there is nothing in way, you can spin it manually and it spins freely. Plus if there were something in the way, i think i would hear that sound all the time, wouldn't i? But as i said, there is no sound when playing other heavy games like crysis 3, or doing tests with 3dmark...

I can't figure out whats wrong - GPU or PCI-E or maybe the problem is somewhere else?

Yeah, i probably should've searched more than i did and bought something else. I have a question though - card seems to be working as it should, but in one particular game, metro: last light, after initial scene when he gets to some sort of house: (scene is @5.02 mins) my PSU starts...

I can't figure out whats wrong - GPU or PCI-E or maybe the problem is somewhere else?

To the side i mean that when little tab clicks, there is a couple milimeters space between the back of the case and the card (not like it's equal to the whole card side - in front where it screws there is a bigger gap then in the back of the card where are all the ports. There is almost no...

I can't figure out whats wrong - GPU or PCI-E or maybe the problem is somewhere else?

Actually, after reinstaling the drivers GPU-Z shows almost everything(except shaders and fans speed), and i can normally use the card. So that means it was BIOS fault? Question again - if a card is fitted to the slot, but if looking by the case looks tilted - can i do damage to the card in the...

I can't figure out whats wrong - GPU or PCI-E or maybe the problem is somewhere else?

The other hard is AMD HD4350: http://imgur.com/TQXuZcO But yeah, with the HD4350 the system will always freezes - either when loading windows, or if windows are loaded then video disappears, monitor shows "no DVI/VGA signal" and system freezes too. EDIT: Actually, after BIOS install system no...

I can't figure out whats wrong - GPU or PCI-E or maybe the problem is somewhere else?

Okay, will try that. I have a question though - GPU-Z should be able to tell all the info about the card, right? I have checked with other GPU viewing softwares and they all seem to don't show specs, temperatures, fan speeds and etc.

I can't figure out whats wrong - GPU or PCI-E or maybe the problem is somewhere else?

No, i haven't tried testing the card with different PC, for now i don't have this option.

I can't figure out whats wrong - GPU or PCI-E or maybe the problem is somewhere else?

Oh, thanks for that, will try right away. EDIT: Somehow managed to load from the first time - but, GPU-Z shows this: and AMD says that there is no amd card installed: http://imgur.com/8kwtKT2 Video is lagging(windows is like slowed when browsing through them, mouse is too)Couple specs...

I can't figure out whats wrong - GPU or PCI-E or maybe the problem is somewhere else?

Yeah, i tried that too(and at first disabling iGPU via BIOS, and setting PCI-E card as main graphics card), but that didn't helped. BIOS version is up to date too(2013-12-11). Tried disabling UEFI (if UEFI is not 2.4.3 version, sapphire's r9 290 TRI X video card may have problems loading (it is...

I can't figure out whats wrong - GPU or PCI-E or maybe the problem is somewhere else?

Yes. But, the thing is, i can't even get to POST (most of the time, but when i get to POST it's always with various problems) with new card, that means bios aren't even loading - can windows drivers affect that?

I can't figure out whats wrong - GPU or PCI-E or maybe the problem is somewhere else?

Yeah, my specs are in my profile. PC was bought in parts, but i'm not the one who have build it - i chose the parts, they've assembled them(it's online shop). I think that 620 W is more than enough for an idle r9 290.. And with not the cheapest PSU. Plus, the problems persists with old PCI-E...

Yeah, sorry, was in a hurry..Tried as hard as i can to make it as readable as possible (and with all the details about whats happening). I'm just kinda stuck and want to know what could be causing this.

I can't figure out whats wrong - GPU or PCI-E or maybe the problem is somewhere else?

So, i bought a PC about a month ago, without a video cardv(so PCI-E slot was never checked). Used iGPU for a month until a couple days back i bought a PCI-E card(r9 290) and when i inserted it and tried to boot i already started to have problems - i couldn't boot PC at all (everything turns on...
