    Intel Core i9-14900K

I am beyond puzzled by the difference in tone between written reviews and those on YouTube like from GN and HUB. The top award for... This? I'll just have to see myself out. I think it's reasonable to expect reviewers to be more adversarial to these large corporations.

    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB Review—Not

Looks like Nvidia is slowly sunsetting its "gamer" business as focus shifts to AI. Nobody needs these Xennial Medusa and Dawn demo enjoyers and their demands for decent performance increases at the same price between generations. They're too toxic to the business, and get mad when Nvidia (and...

    AMD Radeon RX 7600

Thank you for retiring the Recommended badge. There's not much of a difference between this card and the 4060ti lunacy. We used to get 970 cards at around the price between the 4060ti and the 7600. Neither AMD or Nvidia (or Intel) should receive any good press. Continued criticism, as harsh as...

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Founders Edition

Personally, while I agree that outrage sells, I think it's a bit unfair to characterize the situation as such (in this case). Sure, GN and HBU also provide fan service and want clicks, but at the same time they also provide data to back their conclusions up. I would agree that we have likely...

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Founders Edition

How on the planet can you reach a Highly Recommended verdict when Gamer's Nexus and Hardware Unboxed, among others, have reached the exact opposite? Which entity is more important to protect? Consumer, or mega multibillion corporation? Disappointed. Just as with the Guru3D review. What's...

How fast do you enter your OS?

About 30 secs with my normal config, that has quite a lot of stuff starting in the background, like procexp, hwinfo64, MSIAB and various Adobe CC stuff. Fairly sure though the Steelseries GG app and Kaspersky are the main culprits. Reaching the Windows desktop is quite fast though and you really...

Redfall: XeSS 1.0 vs. FSR 2.1 vs. DLSS 3 Comparison

It's lovely that the devs gave us so many upscaling techniques so we can improve performance from 112 to 115 fps. Time to release those 10GHz P-cores guys, so we can play Redfall and enjoy the incredible AI and story.

Samsung 870 EVO - Beware, certain batches prone to failure!

It shouldn't go down so fast. That is either some error in CDI or the SMART of the drive in general. What matters for these SATA drives is the Wear Leveling number. That dictates when the life% drops. Here is how it worked for my 850 Evo of just 500GB: 99%, 16 WL, 11100 GB written 98%, 22 WL...

Cyberpunk 2077 Experiences Sales Boost, CD Projekt Rakes in Almost $222 Million in Revenue

Funny that they needed some sort of anime to get a player increase, instead of an expansion, but at least one's coming. I didn't have bugs with CP77 like many others, but I got bored very fast, and I finished it like a year+ after I first got it, it had its good moments and was OK, but it was no...

Samsung 870 EVO - Beware, certain batches prone to failure!

If you do, back up again before the process. But you should instead consider RMAing the drive. You guys have to understand that those ECC errors and uncorrectable error counts are not something that just develops with drives usually, for example you can have 840s and 850s with 50TB written or...

Samsung 870 EVO - Beware, certain batches prone to failure!

I would send them back if I were you. The risk is too high with a 870 Evo which seems to appear the most often in these results. Get something else this time and wait for Samsung to fix their stuff, if they will. They should've recalled the problematic batches and be transparent with what is...

Samsung 870 EVO - Beware, certain batches prone to failure!

Unsure why there are firmware numbers mixed with the serials for 970 Evo+. Also 2B2QEXM7 is the latest for my 970 Evo+, so there's nothing to upgrade to. That being said, the 2 Samsung SSDs I own, a 850 Evo and 970 Evo+ are fine and exhibiting no errors, thankfully. They went through 4-5 years...

MSI Afterburner Developer Hasn't been Paid for a Year, Product Development in Limbo

I'm East European and Russia was always the biggest threat for us here, but Unwinder should be paid and the app is too good to abandon. There are things to discuss about the whole insane situation that are obviously not appropriate here. Unwinder, being a male, should've also bounced from the...

GeForce value over time and 40-series pricing.

Largely the fault of customers and tech press/content creators. Everything is "Recommended" on Guru3D. There is no adversarial relation between press and Nvidia/Intel/AMD. There are no harsh words and sections about pricing on any of the mainstream sites. Just think about the flak other...

    2 fans per fan header?

The limit per header seems to be 1A usually, but better motherboards can have 2A (from what I've seen online). These 140mm fans tend to be 0.25A. So 3 fans/header to be safe, 4 should be doable, double these for 2A headers.
