How far G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series (F3-14900CL8D-8GBXM) go...?

I wonder, how fast these DDR3 rams can go - G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series F3-14900CL8D-8GBXM: And what chips they use - so if there is a chance for getting them run faster with more voltage - and what is the safe (or reasonably safe?) voltage limit for them. That, of course, apply only when the...

SuperPi 32M v1.6 need patch that make 32M calculations over 24h work

Indeed ;) I just reporting it to be known and that for Socket 7 and bellow (basically when you expect the 32M run will exceed 24h) is permisible to use the older version on HWbot, witch seems to not be affected by this bug, as I saw 33h run on 32M test: Christian Ney - Yet still I fancy...

SuperPi 32M v1.6 need patch that make 32M calculations over 24h work

Guys, I have no idea, who is behind the SuperPi v1.6 (Fugger seems to know the autor: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?292870 ), but it is de facto standard SuperPi version. However it was confirmed, that both SuperPi versions crash when the 32M (surprisingly not 1M...) run...

Change old low HDD to a CF card?

I tried the voltage and the good news are, that SanDisk Extreme PRO 32G CF card works well with 3.3V settings! There are the result, enabling Smart a 32bit mode transfer did nothing, PATA133 is supported, but it is not going to get higher. Sadly. Still, I think that this is a reasonable speed...

Change old low HDD to a CF card?

Well, since SanDisk is not going to reply, I tried with the default 5V setting the DeLock adapter I mentioned earlier with very old, 0.5G CF card SanDisk SDCFH. It does support PIO 4, but no DMA and the speed is very slow: Tested on ASRock 775Dual-VSTA (P4, 3.8GHz WinXP, alligned). Also works...
