Hello, I just found an Asus Rampage III Formula motherboard (with one of black ram slots not working) and i7 950 for 420 TRY (110$). Would buying these parts make sense? Is it an acceptable upgrade from my A10-7850K? I have 3*4 12 GB DDR3 RAM, R7 260X GPU.

Well you should not stress CPU's with Prime95. IMO It hammers CPUs heavily. Use Aida64 System Stability Test.

Thank you all guys! I researched a bit and figured out that 70C is safe. When I got money I will buy 2nd fan. I own one of these but I cool down myself in a non-AC room :D Here's my setup.

Standard Pea method. No. Above 30c How could I put 2nd Fan? I do not even own 2nd fan. I guess I'm in safe place.

My thermal paste is pretty new. It is Zalman STG2 Thermal Gerease. Take a look inside my case. Is it dirty? What should i do? Are my temps ok?

Auto Fan speed: 75C at idle %5 fan 85C at load %44 fan Thanks for tip. I'll try when i get my hands on my Core 2 Duo build. :)

But it gets too hot on idle when i set Auto Fan. With a speed of %50, I get 81C on 6min Furmark. I think I will stick with %50 fan. Well i own a thermal paste (Zalman ZM-STG2) but i dont have compatible screwdriver. Mine just cant unscrew the card :(
