i think some peepz @ Lenovo should follow some cable management course..

There should be a switch to turn on the original bios, while windows is loaded (or dos) switch back & flash a correct bios back again. Another fix implies that you boot with a another video card while your 6970 plugged in another pci-e slot, when booted flash the correct bios to your video card...

I'm completely lost... I own a powercolor 7970... I use RBE 1.28, atiflash & atiwinflash. When trying to save the bios with atiwinflash i get : "Cannot find discrete ATI Video Card" I saved the bios under dos with atiflash and when i try to load it with RBE 1.28 i get the following...

do you run MSI Afterburner? If so, just disable it its known problem ab& bc2

Running 2 'unlocked' shaders only 6950 in crossfire and playing bfbc2 without problems. After upgrading to 11.2, crossfire was disabled and 2nd adapter showed "disabled" in ccc. No way to enable crossfire. De-installed 11.2, driver sweeper on it, re-installed 11.1 hotfix and everything back to...

Well GPU clock goes to 880Mhz & memory clock to 1375Mhz instead of (800/1250). Fact is that both 6950 and 6970 seems to be just the same but the memory chip used on both cards are different. For me with everything unlocked, it was working yesterday but today after 5 mins of gaming i got my pc...

Well since today i had a problem of freeze after 5mins gaming with the full unlocked bios.. so i flashed back the "shaders" only using your method..:-) I'll see what happend..

You mean power off the rig while in windows after flashing?

I used the Sapphire "shaders only" bios posted here...
