Yes it is, I have internet connection, but there is a orange light on the ethernet port. Also I have updated my chipset and LAN in my motherboard and just checked in device manager and it said it was up-to-date.

I use a Logitech g9x mouse with a Logitech g110 keyboard. The Mouse is amazing if you play with a claw grip, but I would shy away from the keyboard and pick up a black widow IMO.
