No, Intel s775 (DDR2) is allways @2T so there is no diference 2x1GB or 4x512MB But with AM2 or s939 it is better to use 2x1GB because of CPC (CR) 1T Now there R some CPU's that can push 4 double sided RAM @1T (but it is usually up to 200MHz (DDR400) or a bit higher)
