did any one try to flash a x800 pro to x850? have a stable x800 to x800 xt pe (526/573) but was just wondering if i could flash in a x850 bios into this card.

dunno works fine on X800 XT PE with 4.10 drivers

the Connect 500/500 XT bios sucked on my sapphire x800 vivo. now i run the ati 526/573 flawless. with stock cooler not hotter then 65 degrees and 36 degrees idle

that is batch depandable. my Sapphire X800 vivo worked fine but i heard the next load of sappie's have 2.0 ns mem on top en 1.6 on the backside of the pcb so non modable.. just look for a card that has 1.6 on both side's then it doesn't matter wich brand it is

jup non vivo needs to be hardmodded. higher succesrate if ya have a vivo

ok a new way!! http://www.overclockers.ru/cgi-bin/files/download.cgi?file=452 newest rabit supports mem and core edditing so open any bios ya fancy, edit the core and mem speed.. save and flash bios! now you can make a bios with the speeds you want! here some eddited ones! 500/500...

Mustrum that can be fixed! go to ati tool and the MEM option. look for the mem REFRESH_Rate "34" and put that on "69". it should be working fine now cause the 34 is agressive refresh for the memory. this option worked for 2 friends of mine!

if you installed atitool en go to mem timings you'll see al line called mem REFRESH_RATE at 39 make of that 69 and you have the same settings as the 526/573 bios.

jup same here i use AF Sprayduster cans. handy for those dust infected fans e.d:) but in somecases i just use the vacuum cleaner:D works perfectly too.
