I got 1800x when it launched with the board, then 3950X and then 5900X. The long lasting socket was the reason i went AMD. I was tired of intel pushing new sockets every gen. It seems nothing has changed...
I have a Vulcan X RTX 3080, and i got say, the build quality of these cards, are over the top. I love every bit of it. My new fav GPU brand is colorful, after more than 10 years using asus rog.
Don't care. Being using a x370 crosshair vi extreme since the launch, and updated to a 3700x. This new socket is the reason why I quit buying Intel after 15 years of a Intel only user.
Would not it be more efficient if it had fins on the surface? I mean, i dont want to know more than EK engineers, but is there any reason for not having microfins? Maybe cost?
