I could never make it past the stupid title. What is the day before? Is that the setting? It's the ONE day before? It's post apocalyptic setting, so it's not the day before the apocalypse. The day before what? In summation I absolutely hate the title.

They have plugs for concerts, that have small holes that allow some sound in. I believe there are varrying levels of the hole available. Might be able to find an acceptable plug for the purpose. Is it very tin-y sounding? I imagine it's like those things that make a piece of paper a speaker.

Just to put the black fans on instead. I have a whole color theme going, thrown off by this card. The fans are replaceable according to this review. If I have to remove the whole sinc I won't bother. I have 4 of these same fans in black intended for something else that I chose not to do.

Yes i took those off first then there are 4 screws on the ends of the card. Two on each side. Still did not come off. If it's glued then I will try again with more manly muscles. Edit: I think those top screw only hold the shroud to the fans, now that I think of it. Can't try for another day...

I know this may be forgotten, at this point, but do you remember when taking the fans/shroud off? Were the fans glued to the sinc like the 3070 version. I couldn't find mention of it in the review. I finally posess the thing and first try they did not come off. I was afraid to use too much...

I used a projector as my main display for a couple years. I sat maybe 10 feet away and used the entire wall as my screen. The problem with sitting close to a large screen is having to look around vs just moving your eyes. It is not comfortable to keep moving your head to see the outside corners...
