Ok I am doing a full format and install of windows. If this does not fix the problems, I would like, as an option to re-lock the pipes. Is this possible? I have the original bios. If possible would I just need to re-flash it to the original or flash to a blank bios and then the original?

current install was done end of november and this is the 2nd card. 1st was an XFX 6600GT AGP

I'm trying to decide wether or not to upgrade my GPU. I have an XFX 6600GT AGP right now and have been looking at all the possiblilites. I don't want to spend more then $200-$225 US. some of the offers I've seen but can't decide what's the biggest improvement/best price for an upgrade...
