NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series "Blackwell" to use 28 Gbps GDDR7 Memory Speed

My first reply edits were not so polite, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Let's see if they change the title to increase our trust in them.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series "Blackwell" to use 28 Gbps GDDR7 Memory Speed

The title claims "... Blackwell to use...". The article says it's a rumor. I want your titles to be honest 100% of the time, and the articles to be consistent with the titles.

Milestone SuperPi-32M OC World Record Achieved by SAFEDISK with G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 Memory

There's a lot of annoying repetition in this announcement. When I ran it just now, the post-run hardware tab showed the correct amount of memory, with zeroed-out memory "clock" and "timings" fields. At the linked HWbot site I don't easily see which versions of Windows (and with which updates...

Cooler Master Launches the Mighty X 2000W and 2800W Power Supplies

Noted, Thanks. I was posting about the article's 115V orientation vs. the product site literature mismatch, more than the electrical implications.

Cooler Master Launches the Mighty X 2000W and 2800W Power Supplies

The article mentions input voltage of 115V, but the product page link (https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/power-supplies/x-series/x-mighty-platinum-2000w-230v) leads to a 230V model. The product page top states ATX 3.1, but a spec table later on states ATX Version ATX 12V Ver. 3.0...

LG Unveils Latest OLED evo TVs with 144 Hz Refresh Rate

My LG OLED is 6.5 years old. Its basic browser doesn't work that good, with an increasing number of common websites warning of incompatibility or not loading at all. It seems LG cheaped out in this regard, with not enough (choose some/all) CPU power, RAM, or browser support. I wished they first...

Seasonic Unveils 12V-2x6 (12VHPWR Successor) Cable, Invites Beta Testing

Seasonic Unveils 12V-2x6 (12VHPWR Successor) Cable, Invites Beta Testing

It's my understanding this is progress at the GPU end of the cable. The "refreshed" nVidia GPUs may have ATX 3.1 PCB changes. Seasonic's existing PSU PCBs don't. And so, I can't call this setup 100% "worry free", but it's appreciated as a bigger step in the right direction, even if, for the...

12VHPWR Connector Said to be Replaced by 12V-2x6 Connector

    I see what you mean. I just looked up a wire gauge explainer. Thanks. How about, for practical use, a doubling of the cross-sectional area of the current GPU wire cores. Current (A) = 600 W / 12 V = 50 A. 6 (incoming power) pins -> 50 A / 6 = ~9 A per pin. Doubling, ~18 A per pin, the cable...

12VHPWR Connector Said to be Replaced by 12V-2x6 Connector

I wrote to propose using the same mechanical attributes, not voltage/current. E.g. Use a bigger connector with 2-3 pins, PCB-suitable voltage & current, and thicker flexible cable like my toaster.

12VHPWR Connector Said to be Replaced by 12V-2x6 Connector

I'm naive. What would be wrong using the same technique as my bread toaster's 110V @ 1,600W power delivery? It has a simple 2-pin connector. Maybe 3 pins if grounded.

ASUS TUF Unleashes a Pair of GeForce RTX 4090 OG Custom Cards

It's great to see they took this refresh as an opportunity to improve the orientation of the power port. No, wait... . :) I looked at the images here, including ASUS's site, but didn't easily see it.

DeepCool LT720 White 360 mm AIO

If I understand you, for an all-new PC with an idle CPU - the pump motor runs at s%. But, as the years roll by, and the pump ages, for the same idle temp goal to be maintained the response curve will have the pump run at (s+x)%. If I base my observations on a steady idle CPU temp alone, I...
