I need Help on.Abit Fatal1ty motherboard

Hi I just bought a Abit Fatal1ty.Fp-Ins. SLI. Motherboard.And I don't know how to setup up my Processor to run on the Board.I have a Celeron E1200 Dual Core Processor. Is there anyone that can help me set it up to run properly on my Motherboard.Thank you...Brenda

I assume you might be referring to speed step here. This where the multi and voltage drop a bit while not under load, then when needed the CPU goes full out to full spec at load.

What exactly do you mean about setting the CPU to run right?

Go here please and download CPU-z(top left corner of the link page). Under the main tab when it opens it should show you what is going on.

When its open hit the prtscn button then open mspaint. Hit crtl+V to place the image in paint, then save it. Then please go here and host the image. then copy the

link and post it here so I may see it!

I don't see a problem, that's completely stock/default settings.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish or explain?

We could help you make it run faster though. You just need to OC it. What CPU cooler do you have?

Very very true. Just as an FYI: 438x8@1.52v is my max posting results, not saying thats stable and YMMV from my results.

Well here is a guide to start with:

From there the easiest OC with that chip is 333FSB with a 5:6 (333/800 bootstrap) Ram Divider or 4:5 (266/667 bootstrap) if you don't have a 5:6. From there @ around 333fsb the processor will be overclocked to approx 2.6Ghz and around a 22-23Second SuperPI.

As for the OP: It's not that it's technically slow its just not that great of a chip. But describe what you mean by "slow".
