Very strange that your not seeing any motherboard LED's etc lighting up when power is applied. Points to the PSU, do you have a spare PSU?

My PC borked up this morning as well, but that's a Windows booting issue. Anyway... D'you get any error beeps? I suggest you make sure all your components are seated correctly as you've unplugged stuff. Try removing your RAM, checking for any dust or dirt in the slots then return them.

Check all your power connectors, make sure you've got the right ones connected correctly and if that doesn't work remove all components and troubleshoot each one, one by one. For example, try booting with one stick of RAM.

Hmmm.... ok, you could try discharging your PC. Turn everything off, and then press the power button, wait 10 seconds and then do it once more for luck. Then, turn everything back on and see if that's helped.

Check your ATX connections to your motherboard. Does your PSU fan spin up when you try to start?

I don't know if this will help, but I had the samething happen when I swapped out my video cards on my Gig board(X48-ds4). I unplugged from wall for a few minutes and plugged back in and it started. Something to do with the voltage signal to the board I believe.

Well, first check all your connections including the power cable, try the computer on a different wall plug.

If you're sure everything is properly connected, move on to the PSU. Try another PSU in your computer. You should have a green light illuminated on your motherboard to indicate power. If this light is not illuminated, your motherboard is probably fried....

Unplug PC from wall, disconnect the ATX cable from the motherboard, jumper the pins with a paper clip or similar as detailed in diagram (if using metal jumper i.e. paper clip, make sure the paper clip does not short out on anything metal), plug PC back in and see if the PC starts. If it does, PSU is ok, points to a motherboard problem.

How sure are you it's your power supply?

Did you test it as Dia01 said?

Quick question: Did you happen to have a power surge or anything like that during that time?

I have a Corsair HX620... and after a power surge, the surge protector pops and all is well, nothing is damaged. When i reset the surge protector, everything that was on turns on except my computer. Monitor is on, mouse/keyboard, etc. Now when I hit the power button for my computer... nothing happens. Zip. SO what I have found to get it going again, is unplug the supply from the wall (either from the power supply or wall end), turn the supply off, replug the supply in, and then turn the supply back on. Then hit your power button.

This has happened to me 3 times over the summer and it works every time.

Ok, forgive this, but is the power switch on the back of the power supply on? Second, make SURE that the video card and any other cards are seated FULLY in their respective slots. I made that mistake once and it was doing this.

You could check the fuse shown in the picture to see if it blown. The fuse seems to have some heatshrink over it also, possibly for arc protection. You could check that, unsure whether it would void your warranty though.
