BFG, a leading manufacturer of PC graphics cards and power supplies, introduced today in collaboration with SmoothCreations a nationally known system builder that builds custom painted high performance gaming computers; are proud to announce the Smooth HD SCinema.

"When the Music & Movie industry come asking for the Ultimate Media Center, they don't go to your local pc store or your volume OEM", says Mario Gastelum, they come to a reputable boutique system builder that real design team that can craft & customize a pc. And that's what happened with the Linkin Park media center.

The Smooth HD SCinema home theater pc is powered by an Intel 9770 Quad Core and a two BFG Geforce 280 GTX's.. As the CEO of SmmothCreations, Jim Saling, put's it, "the Smooth HD SCinema was designed to be a powerful multimedia & gaming system that want a robust and with scaleable upgrade features". We wanted to ensure to our customers that everything but the kitchen sink was included in this media center.

The Smooth Creations - Smooth HD S Cinema is powered with the Ultimate features and complimented with the following hardware:

20k for a computer with a Linkin Park logo? Why not a good artist or nothing at all? HTPC's don't need to be all that powerful anyway.. My Phenom 9500 and HD 4550 are amazing for blu ray play back..

A media center my ass, thats a full gaming rig that can watch movies too..

there two different things if you ask me a gaming pc and a HTPC (media center)

a normal person could build a HTPC for $600 or so and thats with hdmi and a decent sond card

nice speakers, but I'd rather not waste money on 10TB and a 'custom' design (to me, custom implies that only I would have it and know how to make it - not have some guy do me something that could technically be reproduced)

Considering what all is in it, Id expect about 11 to 12 grand of that is for the tv and speakers. The rest of the 8 or 9 grand is pc. Well Ill take that back, 10 TBs of HDD from WD with some probably being Velociraptors its pretty expensive.

Well it does advertise itself as a gaming and multimedia system thingy. Although I hate when products come with a sponsor on it.

I was just about to say something about that. People are complaining about the price, but they don't realize how much those speakers actually cost.

Bonetrail is X38/X48.

That's another thing that just dawned on me, this is running SLI on an Intel board.
