Specs:
ASUS P5WD2 Mobo, Pent. D 805 OC'd to Dual 3.8 GHz, 1 Gig PQI 667 Ram (4-4-4-12), Zalman CNPS9500 CPU Fan, Hipro 500W PSU, 80 Gig WD Sata HDD, GeForce 7800 GTX PCI-e

Mods:
I took people's advice and removed the rear perforated fan guard and will be adding a regular wire guard. I also replaced the side view window and installed a 120mm intake fan. Added an external fan speed control and a black DVD RW Drive :) I appreciate the recommendations!!

I've ordered the fan guards from Newegg and they should be here soon!!

I'm sure that 120mm fan makes the sytem more quite while at the same time cooler! If you hadn't noticed when you look at my old computer the 80mm grill was from my old Aspire X-Dreamer I had the same case, and I loved that case so much, untill I needed more room.

Also, if you want to massively increase your air flow, I would recommend cutting out the "hunnycomb" grills at your front intake, and rear exhaust.

cHillen, I did remove the "honeycomb" fan guard in the back and I will replace it with a wire guard once received from Newegg. It made a big difference. I may look into removing the two front "honeycomb" guards as well. Thanks!!

LittleunSTAble, I will "tweak" the fan position a little more this weekend. While typing this comment up, my CPU temp is now 40 C and my mobo temp is 26 C. I am very pleased with this setup.

What do you mean 2 in front. Unless you mean the steel one+the plastic bezel one. I totally botched it up when I took my dremel and cut the front bezel. That plastic surprised me the way it melted when I started to cut it off. So if your talking about cutting the front plastic bezel be careful

Also I noticed the front 6 leds around the perimeter arn't turned on. Did you decide not to plug them in? When I had mine they lasted a few months then they started to die out!

cHillen, my case has two 80mm fans in the front. They are mounted against the stock perforated metal fan guards. I want to remove the built in perforated guards. I don't know if I want to mess with this actual plastic cover on the front. I see how it could get messy! Thanks for the recommendation.

Agreed. I was about 9 beers in when I decided to finally measure and cut some new plexi. I will have to touch up the fan location. Thank goodness for Dremel tools!!
