Hi all,

I recently purchased a GeCube radeon 9600xt. The card is working just fine but I cannot get any monitor signal out of the DVI port. 15-pin D-sub (classic VGA) works ok. Could this be a hardware or software problem (e.g. BIOS, settings etc)? I could post some additional details on the card later today if anyone is interested in helping me resolve this issue.

Best regards!

Ok, here goes: the card is a GeCube radeon 9600XT (core 500, mem 250). The board has GC-R9600/XT REV1.3 printed on and I beleive the part number is GC-R96XT-D3. BIOS version is exactly the same as published on this site in the ATI Bios Collection.

I was wondering... Would it do me any good if I upgraded the BIOS to a different version? My card has a "(C) 1988-2003, ATI Technologies Inc. BK-ATI VER008.015.041.001" version string. Similar cards from Abit and Gecube have "(C) 1988-2003, ATI Technologies Inc. BK-ATI VER008.015.058.002" I don't have any other ideas left.
