PSU Voltage reading problem?

Hi everyone I'm new here...
I got a strange voltage reading with my system config, my sys spec :

Using Sisoft Sandra 2007 :

This is when computer not in the stress mode..



AMD64 3200+ Venice (2.0Ghz) non ovc
512x2 MB DDR400 Mushkin Blueline (2.0,3,3,6) non ovc
DFI Lanparty UT Ultra-D Nforce 3 mobos (711 bios)
NVidia Geforce 6800GT AGP Card + Zalman vf700cu - [fan power connect to mobo] (non ovc)
ThermalTake PurePower ButterFly 480w PSU (20-pin PSU)

...what is the problem here? anyone can explain?...thanks

Benchmark Scores no one cares anymore lols
dual voltage readings for a single core cpu (as if it wouldn't be odd on adual core as well lol)
plus the +12v is rather low.
it's either the psu or the mobo, and judging by your psu I'd say you rig's a bit overdue for a power supply upgrade.

is the reading of -12 and -5V are okay? and what is it for?

Sorry, I'm not too good at voltage readings and PSU. If it was anything else I would gladly help, but not too good at these parts of computers. Anything else you need help with, please keep posting!

using software to check sucks:shadedshu .if you want to properly check your psu's rails do a forum search ;) you should find one of my posts with a link to how to PROPERLY check your psu.

Yer, i had that problem before with voltage rails being displayed as out using SiSandra. The only way to really find out is to get hold of a multimeter, and then jump start your PSU. Test the voltages there, then when its running your PC, and then under heavy load, and see what the fluctuations are.

All the information on how to do these things is already available on TPU, i askd djjbenn for some advice, and he forwarded me the link :)
