I love how realistic the game is.. The dropping of the missile covers really make it look nice! and now the Terran buildings are built! Kid, stop showing me this!!! I'll have to hack into their systems to play it! lol... No hacks...

I really wish they would release the system requirements or at least the settings those screen shots were taken at. Can't decide which video card to buy :[

The game based on DX9, and It will support DX10, that's mean the game is built around DX9, not DX10.The graphic don't look that complicated, so I think the HD3870 or 8800GT and up are fine at 1280x1024 .

Of course, they're massively different and cannot actually be compared. But say, for a one time play through (each), Deus Ex kicks serious ass (ignoring MP in SC of course).

sorry but anyone that has played the starcraft campaign and just the game itself knows that patches won't be required to make it balanced, only to fix bugs. starcraft is the best RTS ever IMO cause it's one of a kind, 3 completely different races to play as yet they're all equal and it depends on the user on which he/she is better with. All these other games, EE, AoE, they're just repetitions of the same type of game with a different name, though i will give supreme commander credit that was something knew. As for hte graphics, i love eye candy but when gameplay is great and unmatched idc what it looks like and that's where Starcraft fits. It's one of kind, great gameplay, and has completely different races but equality between them. it got a 9.5 from ign even though the graphics got a 6 and presentation got a 7 + a 9.7 from users and 8.7 from press which doesn't count, that definitely means something when ign and users give it one of the best ratings any game has ever received.

not quite, Blizzard did have to patch to improove/fix AI issues that effected both MP and SP games, in SP it just made it easyer most of the time, in MP....it could cause problems...hehe

as to BW, well they again had to patch the AI but the AI of BW was far better then sc's.

As to best RTS ever, that titles still firmly in the hands of Total Annihilation

kingdoms was/is a fanticy re-make of TA, and wasnt well liked, tho i know some ppl who still love it(they played it b4 they played the orignal game)

and as pr0n Inspector, you are talking about RTS games and havent heard of/played TA.....for shame!!!!

every time they rate the best RTS of all time, TA is top of the list as most influencial, SC is normaly in the top 3-4 tho

i was born in 1991 man, haha my bro had a lot to do with me getting into computer games. didn't actually get into games until bout 6th grade2002, a good while after that game was out, and i had starcraft so i didn't need another rts

Not many people may believe me but the announcement of SC2 and D3 is the main reason my why upgraded from

My 2001-2008 Rig:
Pentium4 2.4ghz
512mb RAM
Ati radeon 9550 128MB
Asus Mobo MV7 or something
and 40gb HDD (Just enough to hold my music and one game....WoW!)

My new SC2 D3 Rig is on my sys specs now lolololol.
