I just set up my 2nd Monitor (ASUS VK221) and after I set the right resolution it showed up with a big black bar on the right side. Any ideas? Will give a picture in a second.

There's the picture, hope you guys can help.

You sure? Before I go ahead and RMA it I want to be positive that I can't fix it myself.

Will talk to newegg and see what they can do.

Oh btw, I just moved the image to the right a bit more using the on-screen menu on the monitor. It's not all the way, but it's most of the way. Would I still need to RMA it?

Are you displaying to two monitors? What are you using to set the resolutions?

Give us a better idea of your setup and be descriptive. Might just be a resolution issue.

When I reinstall drivers for catalyst and the machine boots my resolution is offset like that. But fixes itself after logging in. Check your resolutions as suggested.

Humm a picture helps alot...

Have you tried to drag an application over to the 2nd monitor and put it where the blackline is? is the program being hidden behind the blackline? If yes, then your monitor is defective. If you put the application in the same spot, but the black part is not covering the application, then you will have to adjust the resolution and resize the Height and width of the monitor (You dont usually have to do this, its by default the proper sizes)

Yeah, the program is hidden by the blackline. I already got an RMA number (RECORD TIME! 5 minutes and I'm already putting it back in the box). Thanks a lot guys, hopefully the second one I get isn't deffective like this one.

Did you hit the auto-adjust button? If not auto-adjust then did u try adjusting it by hand?

It auto-adjusted at the start up of the monitor. I also tried to adjust it by hand and it moved it to the right more, but it didn't move it ALL the way to the right.

Already have it packed up, just need to print out the shipping label and the RMA label they sent me. Like Pete1burn said....hope it comes quick.
