I recently upgraded my case and cooling to a Swiftech P180 combo. Here's the specs: http://www.swiftnets.com/products/qpower-p180.asp#specifications
Anyway, I'm curious what I may be doing wrong or if this is normal but so far the cooling isn't much better than my Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer. In fact, I think it may be getting hotter. I used to maintain about 55 degrees Celsius with the Sunbeam heatsink at full load on Prime95. Now with the Swiftech, I can go as high as 60.
I've checked for bends in the hose and they're okay. I've reapplied the AS5 on the CPU with no improvement. Also, I have the fan running at full speed at these temps. So I really don't know what I'm doing wrong but I would definitely like to hear some suggestions if you guys have any.
