Need an Image of WinXP for virtual console

Hi tpu'ers I need to get my hands on an image of XP. I have a serial code but my winxp cd has finally passed away. Is there anywhere I can get it from the microsoft website or legal and not from a torrent with a trillion virus'

Sorry, but microsoft only sends you a cd if you ask for it but i think you must pay the courier.You can to a computer repair shop and ask for a legal copy for free.

I never knew that. Kind of off topic but do you know of anyway to get OSX to run on a pc like the osx86 project.

For OSX on PC it's easy, just download the modified OSX86 version of OSX, burn to DVD and install like a normal OS. Well, it was like that when I had 10.4.8 running on my old Dell lol. Pretty sure you have do download a pre-modified version, not sure if you can use your own ISO from a disc and just add some files to it. Obviously you should own your own legal copy of the OS

OSX isn't going to play too nicely on an nVidia chipset. It works best on Intel chipset.

I've had the most luck with the iDeneb releases, btw.

Cheers I want to try experimenting with different OS's. I've tried putting it on dvd and I get a lot of funky errors lol

Why dont you UBUNTU a linux based os with easy installations and finds almost any chisets. There is even a 64bit version
