I read through most of this thread and have the jist of the process involved to flash the BIOS.
My question would be does my card support the extra 4 pipelines? If it does, how much of a performance boost are we talking when it is flashed?
I have attached a screenshot of AtiTools showing the proper info as well as my cards BIOS in zip format.
If someone could let me know if my card supports 16 pipes, and even go as far as to provide me with the modified BIOS, it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance!
dolf said:Yes your card could be unlocked to 16 pipes . Use my flash utility but read the instructions first: http://www.savefile.com/projects.php?pid=738578
Success
dolf said:From the pipes 10-20% and another 10-15% if you reach XT PE speeds.

Sapphire Radeon X800GTO2 256MB PCIE DVI (Rev. 480 chip, red PCB). (My current BIOS is the "out-of-the-box" 16 pipes unlocked version).
I've heard that the BIOS can be flashed to make this card the equivelant of an X850 XT or an X800 PE using either an X850 XT or X800 PE BIOS to do this.
Is this true? Would it be safe?
If so, which BIOS is the one to use because I don't want to screw this up & end up with a usless pile of chips & plastic
All thanks in advance

Can i enable the 16 pipes?
rabit 2.1 says:
Active pipelines: 12, GB_TILE_CONFIG = 0x0001001D
GB_PIPE_SELECT = 0x00002724
CONFIG_DIE_FUSES = 0xFFFFFFFF, 0 died pipeline(s)
CONFIG_SUBSTRATE_FUSES = 0xFFFFFF9E, 4 disabled pipeline(s)
CONFIG_ROM_FUSES = 0x00000A61
CONFIG_REGISTER_FUSES = 0x00000000
Can i just modify my bios and flash?
dolf said:OK in order to recommend you proper BIOS you have to answer the following questions:
1. VIVO or Non VIVO?
2. Dual DVI or 1xVGA/1xDVI?
3. What are your max. core/memory clocks?
4. What PCB Part Number your boad has? (PN 109-A474xx-xx)
In both cases (dual DVI or 1xVGA/1xDVI) yor card can be transformed to X850XT or X850XT PE (deppending on the overclock). But if you have 1xVGA/1xDVI you will need my "special" moded X850XT PE PCI-E BIOS for 1xVGA/1xDVI. Don't try to flash dual DVI BIOS on card with 1xVGA/1xDVI because it will result in black screen after the restart.
Please get a copy of the BIOS and post it here (I want to have it for my Bootable Flash Utilities)

Dual DVI
Clocks: 400 core/490 memory (default), (max I've o/c'd using ATI tools is 510/570, anything more becomes unstable)
