I made my own custom classes as soon as I was allowed to, what was that rank 4 or 5? I don't quite recall. But the M4 + Acog, 45acp, stun grenades, extreme conditioning and bandolier works out pretty well. I don't quite recall my builds anymore...I might dig them up later though. I did have a pretty trusty sileneced p90 build I would run with my clan. I was more on scout for enemy locations, if I got into a sticky situation I'd do my best to shoot my way out of it while backup was attempting to flank.

Both AK's are great, the 47 is powerful but get's jumpy (which I can verify in real life with the one I built, though mine is semi-auto to stay legal, but you can fire it as fast as you can pull the trigger!), the 74 is fast firing and controllable but weaker, so aiming for vitals counts more. The deagle is also a good sidearm for sure, but it's very loud...it's a 50 cal pistol, what do you expect?

Definately a very good pistol to become accustomed to once you unlock it!

Well, im assuming your playing the stock game so here..some perks may change depending on TDM/SD but these are the best all around kits hands down. Hardcore and Softcore.

M4+red dot w/ bando,stoppingpower+steadyaim
AK47 w/ bando,stoppingpower+deep impact
AK74u w/ bando+stoppingpower+steadyaim
MP5+red dot w/ bando, stoppingpower+steady aim
RPD+grip w/ bandolier,stoppingpower+deep impact

Deagle is the best pistol, dont waste time with anything else.

Those setups are by far the best all around kits in the game hands down. generally you;ll notice that opfor guns generally have much better ironsights, where as you get much better results from a red dot on an american gun.

There are only 5 or so good perks, more ammo, more hitting power, more power threw walls, and better hip accuracy. Other than that the other ones are not worth it. Dead silence is ok if you want to be sneaky but meh, ive never really needed it

Some other goodies;
M16+red dot, bandolier,stopping power+deep impact
G36+red dot, bandolier, stopping power+steady aim
MP5+silencer, bandolier,doubletap+steadyaim---->one of the best guns for CQB in hardcore mode, high rof+quiet+lots of ammo+looks sexsi
M40A3, Claymores,Sleight of Hand, iron lungs

However,if you want to be supremely gay/cheap, use:
P90+silencer, claymore+uavjammer+deadsilence

If you want to get good fast you should play on servers running promod though, as the competition there is alot better and you;ll find that after playing on those servers you can go back to any server running stock/hardcore and outgun anyone there.

I'd rather stick with the uzi because

The mini-uzi's main advantage is that it fires fast as hell, and if you give it double tap your computer monitor will explode. My gripe with the mini-uzi is its mediocre accuracy. Although the stats show it as only being a hair below the MP5, it's fast fire rate will mean that you will be off target after about your fifth shot. Other than that it does good damage and its iron sights are also not bad. This gun is worthless at longer ranges.
