I'm in the market for a netbook. But NOT a 1024x 600 one. I'm waiting until they get serious about productivity rather than just chat clients.

We need 1280x720 at a minimum. They need to do HDV1 video format. I would prefer 800 or more in the "y" for email, excel and PDF, but, seriously, who are they kidding with those silly 1980's VGA resolutions?!

Champagne Rose! Now my life is full of fun :wtf:

10" screen... Please. Everything so small. If it was for higher resolution, then ok. I need a replacement for my valium snail laptop, but current netbooks are just... toys.

I want a netbook but I want one with a dual core and preferably a AMD core... but that's not likely to happen anytime soon. I do want somthing bigger than 1024x600 as well... that's just to low for my liking

All you guys would kill your eyes from straining, if the laptops were at 1280x720... that resolution on a 10 inch screen is just stupid. I've tried running a virtual 1280x720 setting on something that small before, and trust me, its too small.

You have a point there. But I imagine a lot of scrolling work to be done when looking at websites.

It's not so much that we want 720 support on the tiny little screen, but rather hdmi output with support for at least 720. Right now you can hook in a vga to component cable for video output, but then you also have the 3.5mm to rca cable for the audio. Hdmi would carry both video and audio. One wire for everything makes sense for a little portable device like this.

Personally I can't fight the urge anymore. I think I might be picking up an asus netbook this weekend lol.
