S-FLEX 120mm case fans produced by the Japanese cooling specialists Scythe Co., Ltd. have already made a name and won numerous awards. To expand its product portfolio Scythe now published new 80 mm and 92 mm versions of the S-Flex series.

The unique S-FDB bearings (Sony Fluid Dynamic Bearing) developed by Sony Corporation reduces the friction between the fan bearings and spindle, resulting in a significant reduction in operating noise. By using additional magnetic structures in the interior of the fan, additional reduction in operating volume has been achieved. To avoid electromagnetic noise, the fan is equipped with a linear drive IC.

S-FDB bearing is characterized by a high quality; all S-Flex fans therefore have an expected lifespan of 150,000 hours. The anti-shock capability of the S-FDB bearing also increases the robustness of the fan and its stability.

All S-Flex fans are available with four different speeds. User can make a perfect choice between the highest performance level (up to 2,500 rpm or 2,800 rpm) or the lowest noise level (8.7 dBA or 9.4 dBA).

New S-Flex S-Flex 80 mm and 92 mm fans are now available at a price of 9.15 Euro excl. VAT / US$ 17.20 excl. TAX (80 mm version) and 9.95 Euro excl. VAT / US$ 17.99 excl. TAX (92 mm version).

at least they are catering to the 80 and 92mm market which has never been big this should make some case owners happy.

Benchmark Scores Faster than the tortoise; slower than the hare.
I like their color matching performance scheme. I noticed that on the 120mm and thought it was brilliant. Besides the amp rating, the sticker is usually useless.

Id like to see them make sizes bigger than 12cm (120mm) like 14cm (140mm) and 20cm (200mm) and 23cm(230mm).

So the different color choices are just the various stickers on the back? Weak.
