Mmmm, coppery goodness. Reminds me of my Copper Xiggy :) I'm honestly tempted to do testing against the two hehe. But I need to put all the monies I have towards a phone.

Bump for a good seller and some sexy copper.

Wow, what kind of temps you get with this?

I thought it was,
Copper = Good for conduction
Alu = Good for Dispersion

So the Combination of Copper Pipes and Alu fins was perfect.

Many people have varying opinions on whether copper or aluminum is better to use for heatsinks in various fashions. Nobody has definitively answered the question with enough scientific proof to back it up to change anybody's mind. I'm seriously about to walk into a physics professor's office and ask him to prove it to me so I can post it on here and put the rumors to rest.

Anyway, this thread is about selling a hard-to-find heatsink here, not which cools better. Another bumpy for you.

Was cooling my Intel core I7 3.4ghz/1.38v at 33-34c. I also had really good air pushing through. The heatsink was always cool to the touch to no matter what.

It is a little out of people's price range isn't it? most people don't need that crazy cooling and would be happy with twice the temperature at a third of the price xD

Hopefully someone is hesitating between air and WC and they will pick this up ;)

Bump for a great cooler and a great deal, hands down the best performing cooler out there, and they still go for $100 without the 1366 bracket.

Copper = Good for conduction
Alu = Good for Dispersion

Copper is best for everything, which is why this cooler beats the regular TRUE. This cooler also provides the reason why Copper Pipes and Alu fins are prefered though...weight. The combination of Copper Pipes and Alu Fins, gives the best balance between weight and performance.

Anyone that is serious about this heatsink pm me for more details on the price. I need to get this sold asap so I can order my water cooling equipment. :toast: I might consider trades on a 3 120mm rad and a decent pump for cooling a cpu only.

I've got a pump for ya domy, but as you know I just got my full copper Xigmatek, so I won't be needing this, but once you get it sold, hit me up about the pump. It's a brand new (not in box) Corsair branded Laing D5.

Yes and no. I modified my mobo sheet metal tray to support the backplate instead of the mobo for added support. Thermaltake says you can mount it normally horizontally, but recommends for it to be not moved around.
