Yea that could be it, but the fact is that EVERYTHING here in Australia is more expensive not just computer parts, it goes for food, and house bills, Electricity, land rates, Dentist ($300 a tooth pull) and fuel/Gas etc just every day stuff, you name it, it be more expensive, air flight tickets, i just payed for my GF flight here to Australia it cost me $1400 to pay for her flight, if i was to get the same ticket over here to send me over there it be closer to $3500 :shadedshu

We just live in the most rip off country i can think of lol

Don't mention the fuel... I drive 120km per day, meaning every two to three days (depending on my driving style) I gotta refuel. And everytime I refuel, it costs me 60-70 CHF. So with the money I spend on fuel every week I could by an E8400.

Would be nice if you could reuse your RAM. Then you could spend the money you save on a better board or food.

Or an AMD platform since they use DDR2 still Pretty sure these will be DDR3 exclusive.

Yeah, but still ~$60 cheaper than a Phenom II X4 955 + 790FX AM3 board + 4 GB dual DDR3, for building from scratch.

Thats not to bad, i spend about the same amount per week but only do 80km per day, but i drive a Turbo Supra...........fast lol (75 Litre tank)

nice i wonder if this thing price is right 196$ + lets say an asus Mobo for 150$ y its actually a better buy than phenom II, unless it sucks at gaming or its overpriced it should give amd a hard time...

I think we'll see a lot of good P55 boards come out around the $120-150 range.

You can't call an ECS a lower end X58... yet it is 190$ - 20$ mir
