mouse replacement time

Hello forum. I need to replace my mouse. I was hoping that the forum would have some suggestions for a new mouse. I would like a dual purpose mouse--one that would work for games and just regular stuff. And not break the bank either. I know. It's all too much to ask. Thanks a much.

I've had these mice, and much prefer the DeathAdder:

MX 510
MX 518
G5
G9

Edit: If you have big hands, the G9 is a pain. The Deathadder fits me like a glove, and the G9 leaves the last 2 inches of my fingers off the mouse, so I have to hold it with my fingertips or click with my palm

thanks for all the suggestions. what about wrist strain. after a few hours of pounding away with games, how does your wrists feel? i would like to get a mouse that does not leave your wrist feeling like it is going to fall off after a couple of hours. thanks for your feedback.

You can get the DeathAdder, proven to be one of the most comfortable mice out there. The Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 is basically the same except with no flashy lights and 8ms response time. (You can easily change that with MouseRate Switcher.)

Perhaps try a mouse mat with a wrist rest. http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-mousing-surfaces/razer-exactmat/

I use that mat with a Razer Copperhead and love it.

I just got a MS Sidewinder x5 and I love it, really comfortable imo. I have heard it's a bad choice if you have small hands though which i can understand because it is a really big mouse.
