lol there is a tiny gap in the monitor, if u look up w2007v hp monitor ull see its strange design, theres a big enough gap for a spider to crawl in lol, i shone a light on him before he went in, i flicked it a few times to move it then it just ran in lol

The spider would die before doing damages, also if you are really worried get a vacuum cleaner and suck it out if you can.

Usually I solve these kind of problems with airsoft guns but since it's an LCD i'd be pretty scared

Burn a piece of paper and let the smoke go into the hole, it'll flush him out.

Wait till it comes out i guess.

Or you can get a air duster and try and blow it out.

Im sure itll die anyways, surely there little bodies are not enough to short a monitor, i reckon itll just zap out if it goes somewhere it shouldnt, ive put up a sign already offering free spa treatment at the capacitor :D

Depending on how big the spider is it may conduct electricity and could possibly short it. If you dont have smoke try a hair dryer with the monitor off or dust spray. Exposing the bugger to extreme heat/cold may help get him out.

maybe it's trying to access the world wide web. *insert laughter*

But seriously it should be ok - you'd have bad luck for it to short out your monitor. Reminds me of a massive spider that i saw try and get into my pc last week...it found a 1200rpm fan (lets just say it's a good job i had a dust filter on the other side of the fan).
